Equity Trustees have withdrawn from managing the Jane Bell Scholarship Fund as of 15th May 2025 so we have to reinvest this money to ensure the scholarship can continue. Reinvestment requires member voting at a Special Meeting.
The Special Meeting was held on the 22nd April 2025. A quorum was achieved, mainly due to over 40 members sending proxy or pre-voting forms so we thank you! Two special resolutions were discussed and voted on by attendees.
The reinvestment option chosen by attendees (with 96% of the votes) was to move the fund monies to a CommSec account with most people concerned about selling done and reinvesting in the current financial market. Two special resolutions - formalising the CommSec account & changes to the Model Rules as guidance for managing the RMGNA award & scholarship funds. Go to the Members Only page for further details.
